first you have to convert 110 km/h to m/s

(110 km/ 1hr) * (1hr / 3600 s) * (1000 m/ 1km) = 30.55 m/s

then, use the formula v2 = v1 +a*t

t =(v2-v1)/ a

plug in your numbers and you'll get the answer

acceleration = (change in speed) / time

They give you the value of the acceleration; and they give you the change in speed. Solve for "time".
