she's just a tiny newborn and she feels secure being held by mommy. She's not spoiled she just needs to feel you close and smell you. It's just a natural thing.

Get a sling and use that when you need to get stuff done. Don't worry this will pass and soon they will be crawling and and trying to get away from you..lol..cherish these moments because they grow up so fast and they are only this little once and only for a little while. She will let you put her down soon, She will be busy looking at the world around her when she gets to be 3 months. Good luck and congrats!!

That's normal. With my first baby, I had to stand and rock her the whole time she was awake (and she was awake most of the day) every day until she was 2 1/2 months old. I think it was because she was bored, and the motion entertained her. When she discovered her hands and feet, and how to make rasberry noises, she could entertain herself, and after that, she was as good as gold.
If you need a break, a baby swing will help.
Just keep telling yourself - this is only for a short time. Cause it will end, believe me!

My son replace into like that till he replace into 5 months previous. whether I nursed him down in mattress and then slipped away he'd awaken. I purely did no longer get stuff executed whilst he slept. I sat on the laptop or examine or napped till he gave up. It replace into far greater worth my time to have him have a great nap and then do stuff whilst he replace into wakeful then to frustrate myself with slumbering. Get a wrap particularly than a sling for toddler wearing. i got here across slings too no longer basic at a month to apply proper (additionally somewhat paranoid on the subject of the entire respiration element) and then as quickly as he replace into older it replace into too no longer basic on one component to my physique. a wrap is lots greater desirable.

My 4mth old is the same way. She stays at home with daddy during the day and he says shes not like that, but when I get home she will not let me go 2 minutes without holding her. I will pass (I hope!) but enjoy it, my 2yr old niece was like that and hates to be touched now!

That's totally normal. Don't think of it as her not letting you put her down- think of it as her loving you so much :-)
She's NOT spoiled.
If you'd like hands free time look into getting her a sling. Sometimes you can get them on freecycle or EBay or somewhere else used- so you don't spend a fortune on something you don't like.
Good luck :-)

Many babies have a high need to be held. In your arms is where she feels safe! You might want try a sling to make things a bit easier on you - try a few different types to see what is most comfortable and easiest for you to use.

you could try wraping her tightly in a recieving blanket to give her that feeling of being held closely and put her into a swing or a one those chairs that vibrate or rock! they will snug her quite tightly just secure her all around with rolled baby blankets ... this worked for my daughter so i really hope this helps you!!! many moms go through this and you are not alone!! good luck to you (smiles)

You are blessed. Not enough mothers will hold their babies and that is a shame. It is the one thing(besides milk) that makes them feel safe. Afterall you held her in your urtrus for 9 mo. You are home to her. I raised all 3 of mine on my chest. Carried them till I couldn't pick them up. We are VERY close and have always been. Love is the best thing.

My baby is like that, too. She doesn't even like her swing or her bouncy seat! I got a pouch sling and it has been a life saver! She is now happy and content while I have 2 hands free to get things done.
