Yes avoid AOL if you can. I never had any probs with them until recently and cus now I have gone wireless, we download a lot of data and now have exceeded my usage. As a result, they restrict my speed in the evenings (usuall between 5/6pm till around midnight everyday). I've asked them to remove the restriction but they refuse to do so. Gonna go to someone else (prob virgin) when my contract is up. Roll on March....

I'd go with Sky if I were you.

It's the cheapest and the best out of the lot (and I've been with BT and AOL before)

The package I'm on is just £15 a month for Sky TV and broadband!! How good is that when compared to the rest?

I've also used their technical support on several occasions and have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get through. Excellent service!

Also it's great for Xbox Live and other gaming if you're in to that sort of thing!

I have been with B.T. for about four years and apart from a few minor probs, I have had no complaints. Some friends have Sky and have got major probs with them. A.O.L. is not so hot either. My mate had them when he first went on line and their security packages (which he had to have like it or not), created major probs on his comp. So overall I would say B.T. is the best. My speeds are very good too. I get between 5-6 mgb.lol

Iam with BT but only because SKY is rubbish in my area, best to check what speed they can all offer you and compare the price.

Im with BT and i have no problems and get between 3.5mb and 5mb speeds on an 8mb broadband package. Price wise its pretty reasonable and i find thier service reliable. So overall i would recommend them.

They all have their good and bad points. I am wtih BT and their service is second to none. Never have a problem with connections and they will always be at the front with new technology.
