It's nothing gossipy, just favourite actors, what first jobs they've held, things like that.

2eight8: Love the article. Some people are just bitter. Ignore them. I always like your questions.

I think they should put one tidbit of info (like the ones in the article) on the bottom of hockey cards. Some of that stuff was really interesting. McCabe is such a ding-dong. Why would you want to meet Vince Vaughn?

I ate up every tidbit of info on the Stanley Cup winning Flyers, but I was a 14 year old hockey newbie then. At my age now, their business is theirs and if I were in their shoes, I'd be reluctant to make my life public.

I think it's interesting to know a little bit about who they are off the rink. They're actual people behind the stats. It's nice that Ovechkin & Richards buy tickets for people that can't afford them. Now that's what people should here about hockey players.

Nice article. you're always sneaky with coming up with the links.

yes i have wondered about their lives off the ice for some time now. i know they are just humans like us but..come on. i'm some what nosy :P

I already knew about Mats Sundin becoming an electrician if he were not playing hockey. it was in one his biography books. & Kyle Wellwood's no surprise. he owns so many books himself that he probably has a library in his house. he doesnt own a TV, for goodness sakes!! I like him though

Yea, I think it's interesting. Makes them look like actual people as opposed to hockey playing robots.

It must be nuts! They make ALOT of money! Esp the kids in the NHL who are just starting out and they're 20 years old - crazy!

No. My life is busy enough. I also am not that nosy.

Edited to add: I am not knocking you 288. I am just saying it is not my cup o tea. My wife is the one that majors in useless knowledge of pop culture. Sorry if I came off the wrong way.

Man 288, these people are giving you a beating. Many will find your link useful.

Not at all. Unless it is something totally off the wall, like he likes to get drunk and take naked pictures while sticking his tongue in another guys ears. Could care less what a guy drives, what his dog's name is or what flavour ice cream he likes, to me that isn't news. Just the interesting stuff intrigues me.
