I think the way it is worded in my state is if the spouse removes his/her clothes---not even all of them and spends the night away from home, then it is abandonment--it may be two nights but I believe one is enough here.
With the divorce laws here, you need a reason for a divorce--this is a no no-fault state and abandoment is grounds for divorce.
