Santa's nose is red because Santa is a lush. You'd drink too if you had to get toys to every girl and boy in the world in a period of 12 hours. That's a lot of pressure.

Ok well I would say it's from the fact that coca cola came out with the red santa idea and we no what was once in Coca Cola, but technically speakin you ride on a sleigh or motorcycle in the cold, with no face protection, but a beard, and tell me what color your nose is.

My son asked me the same question. I said it was the cold air at the North Pole that makes his cheeks and nose red.

Santa's nose is red so he can show up better on the radar when flying on Christmas Eve that way other planes and helicopters won't hit him

Poor Santa... too cold outside. His home is surrounded by snow, and the air is chilling, freezing, especially when he is speeding with his unique vehicle. Maybe he gets frostbite on his nose... or at least nearly gets it.

He has a red nose and rosy cheeks, it's cold outside what do you think! You try delivering gifts in a winter night and see how rosy you'll look!
