for my politics class we have to create an advertisement to promote or warn against the following...

An increase in jobs available to young people
- as approx. 25% of the labour force retires it is expected that labour shrotages will occur
- the industries most likely to face shortages include education and health care

ok so we have to create a slogan or catch phrase advertisement to promote or warn against this impact..any ideas? thank you.

We have too many people in the world now for the resources available. Yes we may have a lot of people trying to retire but they will not have very much luck with the benefits available. We also have a lot of people that are on welfare that can go to work. The slogan should be to keep it in your pants.

A picture of an older person with their hands up near their head, palms up ... and shrugging... with the phrase

"Who's gonna take care of me" below them.

That should get some responses from just about everyone lol.

Edit: ohh, just thought of another controversial one. Have a picture of a Mexican doing some crappy job with the slogan

"Illegals, taking over your job so you can move up" below it.. or something like that... lol.. that will piss some people off :P

I think more companies will open up to cater to the up and coming generations and that will counter effect the rest. but if it's a slogan you want I'll play along...

"Invest in your future with the small cozy family"

"smaller families can save the environment"

and my personal favorite...
"Grey hair and wrinkles are hereditary...you get them from your KIDS!"
