This year our family drew names and have to make a gift for that person, my 1 1/2 year old picked her daddy's name and im having trouble thinking of what to make, he dont like sweets at all, hes not into any sports, he likes to go offroading and works on vehicles if he has to, any help on what i can help my little one make that he would use and not just let it sit there. thanks

I still have a framed piece of "artwork" my son created at around that age using some paint and Matchbox cars. The tires of the cars (look for something with varying profiles) were dipped/rolled in some paint and then you can let your little one roll the car over some paper to leave tire track designs. After everything is dry you can put this in a purchased frame to match the size of paper you used, either with or without a mat.

Another nice gift would be the hand print of your little one poured in plaster. You can buy kits for this in craft stores or places like Walmart.
Hope the link below works for you to see what I'm talking about:

An 18-month old is not really going to understand what she is doing, but you could cut pictures from an off-roading magazine and have her layer them onto a desk blotter, then you can cover it with wide clear tape or laminating sheets.

cut a piece of paper the size and shape of a bumper sticker, get her to draw a picture on it, then, go get it laminated at her daycare or any local print shop like Kinko’s to waterproof it, then get some magnet sheets in the craft section of wal mart or any hobby store and let her glue the magnet sheet on to the back (but most magnet sheets come pre-stickyed), now he can stick it on his bumper.
