One of my coworkers always, always manages to say the wrong thing. If I didn't hate her so much, I might actually admire her skillz.

I once wore my hair differently for about a month. When I went back to my original hairstyle, a coworker told me how glad she was that I went back to it and that I look so much better with this style. (FYI, at no point did I ever solicit her opinion on either style).

I smiled sweetly and said thank you, while dreaming of power slapping that cheap wig off her head (I mean, imagine the nerve!).

lol I'm ashamed to say I actually said it once. I really didn't mean to offend but she was a friend of a friend and she usually dresses rather butch. I seriously didn't recognise her when I saw her all dolled up and it just popped out before I could stop it.
I've gotten the "gee, you look so...tired" comment many times though.

I shaved off my beard today and NO ONE noticed. Not a single person said something. I had it for 3 months and nothing.

I was raised by that lady. Best to smile and say thank you for not pointing out my bad days.
