Sometimes you deserve to be sued. It shouldn’t matter of what relation anybody is to you. If you did wrong and refuse to make financial mends then they should sue you. When I went to Iraq, out of the kindness of my heart I let my parents use my $27,000 SUV while I was gone. My dad had had his car reposed after massive gambling losses. The only condition was that they had to carry insurance on it. They let it go to hell, accidents and whatnot, no insurance and made no amends. Looking back on it I wish I would have sued them.

let them, Thay are not going to get anything this well is tapped dry. Not only that I would counter sue for reimbursment of funds that spent on anything that was a want instead of a need.

I do not know how people can give you advice without knowing what they did, how old are they and did the mean to. How do they know it could have been your 15 year old crashed your car. Would you disown them? Need more info to help.

I would be hurt and angry. I would wonder how I went wrong as a parent and then I would fight for my rights and fight the urge to disown the ungrateful twits.
