One of my biggest issues with Bush is how weak and indecisive he is and how late he always is to reacting to a tradgedy. Why didn't he help on home mortgages sooner why did he wait so long to react... http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071206/ap_on_bi_ge/mortgage_crisis

Obviously his actions are going to help the situation. Samething with the drilling in Alaska issue. If he really believes drilling in Alaska will help America why doesn't he declare in the interest of national security we need to drill in Alaska?

Why is it the president's responsibility to bail out the 6% of people with new mortgages who bought a house they could not afford?

The President should not have done anything to help them, they should be more responsible with their money.
