It makes me sad. I love the name. It sounds so very pretty, exotic, and feminine. It would be a great choice if you're not in the US. If you are, it's a very popular, well advertised allergy medicine, so it wouldn't be a great first name choice. It's really a bummer, because it's such a nice name! I would consider it as a middle name, just to avoid the teasing.

I like it alot, but i really truly hate the nickname Ally, so I wouldn't use it. but "Allegra" is beautiful
