How did this idea evolve into his thinking, how did he notice it? How did he feel? He must've felt so wow. I can feel his excitement cos I'm just realizing it myself.

Hi. Einstein had a remarkable ability to formulate equations which could be interpreted (at least in his mind) to the real world. His theories are used to calculate observable events and have been VERY precise to date. He was actually frustrated in later years because he was not able to unify all of the forces. And he was also not a fan of quantum physics.

Some of the greatest inventors and thinkers had ideas just pop into their heads or occur in dreams.

I don't know specifically about Einstein but I know that Edison said that he got many of his ideas in his dreams.

He probably was like you, very curious and never gave up. The day Time Magazine nominated him the Person of the Century (special issue Jan 2000) I had tears in my eyes.

Einstein used the power of imagination- he imagined he was a particle or wave of light, and then reasoned about what that would mean.

I wish I knew - then I'd have accomplished something great! I STILL don't understand it - but I've never pretended to be a mathematician or physics whiz.
