I'm 25 and read all the time - I'm a librarian though so that may have something to do with it. For about six years though when I was in school (college/master's program) I didn't read many books except the text books I had to read for school. When I was younger I read all the time and am getting back into the habit now because I have a job that lends itself to that.

Interesting question. I started to read for pleasure in grade school and have never stopped. As I have gotten older, I read more non-nonfiction. Since my vision isn't great anymore, I listen to books on CD frequently and have gotten re-interested in classic fiction (Dickens, etc).

I work in a bookshop and apart from the school trade our customers are mainly men in their 50's who buy between once a week or daily.
Then it's women in their mid thirties ( i think!)
