Very normal. Try a heating pad on your back, the kind that you can peel and stick on your skin are amazing, you can get things done and still have that heat on your back. Hot showers are also very helpful and relaxing. I got a little plastic stool (the kind you might put on a patio in the summer) and I put in right into our shower so I can sit down in the shower. I feel like a total nut, but it feels so good.
You can take acetaminophen (Tylenol) for pain, but I would mention it to your doctor how much pain you are having. Most likely they will tell you that the pain will pass and to use a heating pad and acetaminophen, but it's best to keep them informed.
My back pain got a little better around my 27th week when my baby dropped. I was carrying really high and it was horrible. After the baby dropped down he/she was closer to my hips and the pain got much more manageable.

It sounds normal.....for one thing, you say it hurts when you move a certain way, which would signal more of a pulled muscle or your sciatica nerve. You could always see a chiropractor also, just stay away from the x-rays and make sure they know you are pregnant. I had a lot of trouble with back pain with my 1st pregnancy. It was so bad, I could barely get out of a chair or go up stairs. Seeing a chiropractor did me a world of good. It's the only time in my life I've ever gone to one. Good luck!

That all sounds normal to me. You can take regular Tylenol for the pain. And you just need to rest more. Being pregnant uses a lot of energy even when you don't realize it or think you are doing too much. I'm not usually a napper, but I took naps when I was pregnant because I was so tired all the time.

Get the book called "what to expect when your expecting" popular book goes for about $14.00. It is great and easy to read. It answers just about all subjects. It was my bible when I was pregnant. So far it sounds like a normal healthy pregnancy. As far as the back pain goes depends how far along you are. BAby could be sitting on your siatic nerve, ouch that may not go away untill after you deliver. Always call your doctor with any concerns or questions, that is what they are there for, and their used to it. Good luck.

Back pain is normal. Take if from a Mom of 3. Your body is changing and adjusting to the weight gain and shape change. Mine killed me and my husband ended up with strong hands from rubbing my back all the time. I would even wake him in the middle of the night to help me with the pain. The Doc will let you know what you can do to help with the pain as well.

Good luck honey just remember it will be over soon.

Everything you are going through is perfectly normal. Your body is going through a lot of changes. I'm sure the back pain is horrible. I know that one over the counter medicine doctors recommend in tylenol. It is not harmful to the baby. Hope this could help. Good luck in parent hood.=)
