I just spend vacation time with by bf and realized that we really have a good time together. We have been together for a while and still make each other laugh. I hope our good times never end.

I feel you Prince...but I treat my man to dinner, movies or whatever, it's not about the money with us we have each others back. He have my back just a little more , but it's all good he likes to spend his money on me. I guess LOL.

Beth-Did I fell to mention that he gets on my nerves sometimes LOL. He stands over me when I am cooking and that annoys me. He hates when I jump in the bed at 4 am to wake him for work. He never knows what day it will be LOL. Childish I know, but it's funny to me.

I do.... but alot of time we do get on each others nerves, but then again we have been together pretty much every day for five years. but we do have lots of fun when things are calm and we arent running around like chickens with or heads cut off. Like the other night we sat down for the first time in along time and watched a movie, a christmas one and colored christmas pictures, it was a little childish but it was fun.

That's nice and I hope it keeps up. The truth of the matter sometimes is a couple can start to nit pic over insignificant issues. We have good times-we have bad times. It works better when HE really tries to be pleasant and not pick at the things that I do that he doesn't like.

Hope it stays that way. When you have been together for years you can take each other for granted and get bored withe ach other. Me and my spouse nearly drifted apart before we realised and started doing things together again and became like new friends, I just wish she would stop talking about he kids and work all the time though............

Yes. Road trips are the best way to find out, because you are together in a small place for a long time.

My wife is my best friend, though we argue a lot. Mainly over the kids and money. When we leave town though, just us, it is then that I find out how truly compatible we really are. Nothing like being stuck in the mountains with someone you love.
Ahhhhhhhhh..... VAIL.

I agree, me and my husband make the best of everything. After 21 years together we still have fun, however sometimes we do have to get away.

yes--but not all the time. You have to expect some times to be "down" times. If you tell me youare always enjoying the time yoiu spend together-I am not sure that is possible. It sounds that you are on the right road, but in the end we are responsible for our own feelings.

Yes... we had a big fall out the other day,, I did not think there was any coming back... but we have more good times than bad, so our relationship was worth salvaging..
