Lol. Well I can tell you from almost 10 years experience that sleeping next to a loud snorer can be frustrating beyond belief. Many, many, many nights I have nudged him awake every other minute because he was snoring. At times he has had to sleep downstairs. He even got himself a CPAP machine, which is supposed to help with snoring. But he doesn't use it anymore, and even when he did use it I had to listen to the humming noise of the machine, which was louder than I would have hoped. So ya, a loudly snoring spouse can keep you up for many nights of your marriage and it can also cause problems for him as well because when you're waking him up all the time to stop him from snoring then his sleep is affected negatively too. I wouldn't let loud snoring stop you from marrying someone you think is your perfect mate, but those are just some of the annoyances of dealing with a crazy-loud snorer :)

I would not divorce someone because they snore loudly. In fact I have found that after you've aloud yourself to get use to the snoring it becomes comforting. And is missed very much if you are not next to that person for a night or two.

Snoring is often the symptom of more serious problems, some of which can be life threatening. Treat the snoring issue with a good doctor.
Then take a look at your marriage and see if the snoring was a mask for something else.

Snoring is not a love killer. Where there is divorce in such a case, there was never real love to begin with.
No, you work on it, either this person goes to a sleeping institution or uses the patch or something, or the other person uses sleeping teas and pills and stuff, but that would be a very petty reason to get divorced. Unless that was only an excuse...

No....my Hubby has that problem so off to the dr's, then a sleep clinic to confirm the dr's suspicions...my hubby has sleep apnea and loud snoring is a symptom of it....he has no control over it,there is no cure, treatment is a machine with a mask...that he must wear at night...it gently blows a stream of air into his mouth (he's a mouth breather because of nasal problems) to keep his breathing passage ways open and prevent them from closing down/narrowing.....
...the snorer may very well have a form of sleep apnea....not their fault and easily corrected......divorce is rather drasticand IMO a flimsy excuse for divorce...if the person is stretching for reasons then they want a divorce because they want one, and anything will be used as an excuse...even a hangnail....

No. There are ways to prevent/stop snoring such as those snore strips you put on the outside of your nose or also surgery.
That's definitely not a reason to end a marriage.
If someone has told you that then I'm taking a wild guess and saying that is just an excuse.

No. I used to snore quite loudly. Finally I went to the doctor and they did a "sleep study" and found that I have Hypotnea (similar to Apnea). They gave a CPAP machine, which I use when I sleep, and now I don't snore at all.
Tell them to go to see a doctor.

I would suggest having them do something about it. First would be losing weight. That is a big reason for snoring. Then try having them sleep on their side. Snore pillows, nasal strips, and as a last resort have them sleep on the couch in another room if it is serious. Try those first.

No way. There are so many issues more important then if they snore to loud. That should not be the reason to want to file for a divorce.

Tell me u are kidding? You must be someone who is hard to live with & that will be your downfall in marriage & within life itself, we all have issues, my god, people fart, snore, poop, pee, burp, etc! Were human! If you want perfection, then stay single, and enjoy living a life of lonliness, if not you must learn to accept people as they are. I,ll just bet that if someone were to record you while you were sleeping, you to would snore, maybe not on a constantly but the majority of humans do snore once in a while.
