My mother has herpes, which she contracted years after she had me...I'm the oldest of six. With her last two pregnancies, the doctor gave her a medication in her iv to keep her from having outbreaks during delivery. As long as you aren't having an outbreak, it's completely fine. These people above don't know what they're talking about, so ignore them. And if you do have an outbreak, they'll give your baby a shot to counteract any bad things that might happen. It's fine, don't worry.

Your doctor will explain all of this to you. My mother has had six healthy children, three of which were born after she contracted herpes. Calm down, honey! Your doctor will take good care of you!

It could be the infection that you have that is causing you and out break. What you are experiencing may not be an outbreak. It may just be that you are irritated. Really there is nothing you can do. Normally I would think that the doctor would have you deliver by c-section but Im no doctor. Good luck.

actually the gel the gave you is used for bacterial vaginosis 1 in every 3 women get it and 2 in every 3 pregnant women get it due to the hormonal shifts, basically when your hormones shift it makes the good and bad bacterial go out of balance, the gel works wonders on rebalancing them quickly. it may be that the stress of the pregnancy, plus the stress of the hormone changes, plus the stress of having BV caused an outbreak. i wouldnt worry to much.

The cream she gave you is for a yeast infection. Some times when you start using it it can cause you to have an itchy rash from the infection around the vulva and lips of the vagina- its normal.

Call your OB or go back in and be seen to make sure its nothing more than that.

ok i seriously don't believe you are serious. i think its really sad that you have nothing better to do then bother us. if you were to have herpies your dr wouldn't let you have the baby vaginally cuz you'd give it to your baby everywhere in its eyes and everything. you can still pass herpies even when you aren't having an outbreak. maybe you should pay closer attention to the commercials.
