Internal conflict isn't a bad thing unless you can't resolve it. Internal conflicts help us grow, mature, and figure out who we are and what kind of person we want to be. Do I take this fabulous job in an unfamiliar and scary new place, or do I take the so-so job in a familiar, beloved town? Do I make amends with my despised sister, or do I write her off?

The problem with unresolved conflicts is that you can't move forward to new challenges, you second-guess your decisions, and generally feel bad about yourself.

Internal conflict isn't necessarily a bad thing as it is part of our process of rationalization and decision-making in every day life. Without conflict, how can there be progress? Regardless of whether it is internal or external.

I don't think internal conflict is necessarily a bad thing. During times of internal conflict, we are often forced to examine ourselves, our circumstances, and our behavior. Internal conflict often leads to self improvement and a strengthened character.

An internal conflict is something only you can see, so no one else can know what you are experiencing, so treatment is only on what you can describe, so if you are embarrassed and hold anything back, you won't get proper treatment
