Yes. The owner has sold it to some sort of Cleveland restaurant company which is going to turn it into a "contemporary cuisine" place.

I knew and ate at Bob's right after Bob Morgan opened the place as a no-alcohol southern diner with stools and counter place about 1960.

By the way, if you are interested in interesting ethnic places
serving cuisines of color: just today I happened to trip over
what seems to be a gem. It is named Restaurant Laura, it is on Columbia Road near Upham's Corner across from the KFC, it is sit-down tablecloth, it is Cape Verdean, and it has a helova wine list to boot!! All at incredible prices!! And the staff is enthusiastic! A flattering "Globe" review hands on the wall. I was told it has been open for 5 years. I never had heard of it!
