Lity, my dear, Maag is a military base. Maag stands for Military Advisory and Assistance Group. He was born within the compound, yet the city he was born in was Taipei, Taiwan.
Trying to keep me on my toes, eh?
Lol, on #2.

Rich: I was at the game. I am 104 years old. lol.
I don't remember exactly where I got the info, but if you google "NHL March 3 1920" many websites state that the Habs had the most NHL goals (16) in that game against the Bulldogs. Thanks for the star.

I guess it's question Haley's creditability day. Geez. Where the heck is cyrenaica? I need that guy to be my trivia bouncer.

1) Canada scored 52 goals against Denmark at the 1947 World Championships (wining 52-0) (Or was it 47 goals at the 52 worlds...whatever)

2) I've said that - hence the reason for becoming a left winger

3) I have nothing

4) I have nothings

5) No NHL player was ever born in Taipei. Roderick Langway on the other hand was born in Maag, Taiwan

Haley Haley Haley
That thumping your lighting took last week at the hands of My Hawks hasn't worn off yet I see.

Langway has said himself, he was not born in Taipai, he was born in Maag. I have to admit, I thought Maag was the name of the city where the soldiers were (kinda like Wiesbaden in Germany). I wasn;t aware Maag was an acronym.

See................you CAN teach old dogs new tricks.

Rich,
I have 61 editions of the NHL Guide and Record Book dating back to the 1936 issue, all the issues have the 16 goal outing as the most goals in an NHL game by one team.

I am unfamiliar with the 1920 Canadiens 16 goals. I thought the most in NHL was 15 by the Detroit Red Wings against the New York Americans in 1945 (15-0). What is the source of your answers?
