At World's End, it was good, but I was a little disappointed and not sure why, I don't know what I was expecting, but it just didn't have the oomph of the others, and I thought it was a trilogy? They left it wide open for another one! Any thoughts or comments are welcome!

Merry Christmas everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't watch through the credits, is it something beneficial to the story line?

Did you watch past the credits? When the credits end there is a little more to the story. Well at least the theater version had more to it. But I believe the should make a fourth and final movie that way all loose ends are tied up and everybody goes home happy.

i thought that the movie was awesome, by far my favorite one of the trilogy. there won't be anymore pirates of the caribbean movies, tear, but i did hear a rumor that there might be some prequels. keira knightley and orlando bloom don't really want to come back, johnny depp said he would if it was a script. like the other's said, watch all the way thru till the end of the credits, there is a very important scene. it will give u a happy ending to the elizabeth and will storyline, and you'll see that true love conquers all!

SPOILERS

At the end credits (note: all three have a scene after the credits) a 9 year-old boy is singing the Pirates theme at the edge of a cliff, when Elizabeth walks up behind him. They are overlooking the ocean, and see a bright flash. There is Will on his ship, sailing back to them, and about to meet his child for the first time.

An important scene, kind of strange they put it at the end of the credits. But it does effectively end the Will/Elizabeth storyline.

I'm not sure if it's supposed to be a trilogy or not, but I was disappointed with the second two. The first one had it's own succinct story, whereas the second one NEEDED the third one for the story to conclude. I think three different stories with the same characters would have been much better.

I was not disappointed although I was a little annoyed at the continuous dwelling on Captain Jack and his issues but all in all I thought it was very well written and I am very happy that they left the end open for a fourth.

i liked it.. i was dissapointed at the end.. but at the same time.. i wasn't.. like.. you want them to be together but.. thats so.. cliche' i was glad they wern't in a way.. because.. they still were.. but there was still a problem. it like.. fullfills the peoples needs for a happily ever after eneding.. but it also fufills peoples wants for an ending you dont expect, or a ending thats not so happy after all... that actually frustrates people sometimes when every movie ends happy.

i dont know..

i did like it tho...
i liked the part in the jail cell where theres a bunch of jacks. haha very cool

that part after the credits was kind of lame and to be honest it confused the hell out of me lol

I didn't really at worlds end either...I was expecting it to be much bigger lol And when I heard that Keith richards was going to play johnny depps father I was excited...but the man was only in the movie for about 10 minutes

I was disappointed because although they were together in the end - they weren't "really" together... So if they don't make a fourth now I feel as if the story isn't ever going to be complete...

I enjoyed it but was also dissappointed with the ending. On the other paw, I appreciated that Captain Jack's character had fully returned to the captivating quirkiness that had manifested in Curse of the Black Pearl but was somewhat diluted in the 2nd film.
Yes, there's definately room for a sequel here.

It was such a bad movie. It just got too out of control and lost the focus on it's characters and the ending was ridiculous.
