Although I did once have a false positive, they are still very rare. But, since you've had two positives and you haven't had a period since October, then I would say Congratulations to you! Your doctor will answer any questions you may have. Good luck.

If you took a pregnancy test in the afternoon and got a negative result- the reason why is that you should only take them the first thing in the morning. If you took 2 tests and they were postive you had to have the pregnancy hormone or it wouldn't of showed up. It makes me wonder though why you kept taking them after you already had two positives. Also when I was 2 months pregnant I took one of those cheap save a lot brand pregnancy tests and it was negative. If you are having a little bit of cramping stay off your feet until you see a doctor- make sure you tell your doctor about this. You are probably pregnant-I think you already know that.

Honestly, I've never heard of a false positive, except in the case of a chemical pregnancy (which just means you've already miscarried but your body is still carrying the hormone). False negatives are easy to come by; false positives aren't. That line won't show up unless you have the pregnancy hormone in your urine. I would wait until the first morning urine. It has higher concentrations of the hormone, and if you've been testing all day, you have to keep in mind that the more you pee, the lower the amount of hcg is going to be. That's why first morning urine is the best indicator. Good luck...

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it sounds like a (-)... Clear Blue Easy has had several reports of false positives lately. Check out the stats of individual pregnancy tests on
www.peeonastick.com

I took a Clear Blue Easy two days ago and it was (+) then I read about their stats and got scared, so I got a Walgreens brand- those are supposed to be quite reliable- I am (+)

Contact your Dr. and have them do a blood test.

Good luck, I really hope I'm wrong.

To give you a little more assurance before seeing the doctor, go buy a First Response pregnancy test. They are the most accurate. That should tell ya.

you are most likely pregnant. Usually you can have false negatives, but not false positives.
First stages of pregnancy are usually sore breasts, and fatigue. Goto babycenter.com for help.
