I have no idea who it is,, they aren't on my contact list but every couple days, someone sends me a message saying I might want to check out their webcam. I stay away from that stuff.

Its a virus that is going around for some weird reason. Some people have sent me that with a saying like .. "I'm sorry the picture wasn't working, try this again" so don't click it, don't open it, it's a virus

I havent but then again I dont do the IM thing. It got sooooo bad for awhile that I couldnt even answer a question without an Im or several at the same time! So I finally quit doing it all together. Just delete the ones from someone u dont know and u will be better off in the long run! Merry Christmas and good luck!

every couple of days? you must not be as popular as i thought! hehehe
i have 'goodbye' audibles turned on, and send them a string of like 20 of them before adding them to my ever growing spam list.
they probably are bots and don't hear the audibles, but STILL, i get a laugh out of it every time!

I block all IM programs to avoid virus shiite like that, but you can block the specific address or the host if you know what it is....

I got rid of my yahoo messenger cause it was screwing up my computer...so now I just communicado via here and e-mails.
