Best is probably a relative word. The OLD time; still sold, Steel one obviously works, and has been a standard for more years than I've been alive.

I also purchased another; kinda DECO one, and within two cans, one of the handles separated.

I'll take the $2.99 at any grocery store; hand appliance section, any time.

I have one made by Swing Away at Walmart a couple years ago. Works really good. Has cushioned handles and is heavy duty. The cutting handle is large and comfortable to turn.
