Should Canada's ONLY team become the first team with one-name players, like Pele & Latin Amerian soccer stars?
Do you have a nick name suggestion?
Moon has become a "minutes sponge" for the Raps, due to his defense and aggressive work on the boards. He always finds a way to contribute offensively, too.
Moon played a team-high 43 minutes on Saturday Dec 1, and finished the night with 16 points, 13 rebounds, two steals and a block, but he said it meant "NOTHING!" because that game was a loss, at Washington. I like his unselfish attitude!
That loss happened with Bosh, Bargniani & Garbagosa missing, and Ford was hurt too! Still Moon had his trademark smile, and took it on his shoulders to alter shots and play big.
It is said that Jamario Moon is starting to "pull the string" on his shot too often!
That means he is not getting full extension on his follow-through. That is one reason why he has posted back-to-back double-figure scoring games only once this season.

Jamario Moon came out of Merrician Community College, undrafted by the 30 NBA teams, but the "Executive of the Year" found him.
Jamario Moon has been putting up double doubles. He hits from 3 pt land. He does spectacular dunks. He blocks shots and alters many others. He is a two-way player, ususally defending the best athletic forward of the opponents. He even passes well.
"Moon Walker" would be a good nick name for Jamario Moon, but it suggests he walks, which is a turnover!
"Moon Shine" is kinda nice, until you realize it lables him an illegal hillbillie alcohol still, from the back hills of Alabama.
Personally, I wish he took Carter's old nick name "Air Canada", but the Raptors would rather put Alabama in his nick name.
Something like "the Alabama flash" because that's where he's from.
I think Jamario Moon is interesting enough!
Toronto Raptors are currently asking their fans what nick name Jamario Moon should have.
What would YOU call him?
