Glad someone had the nerves to stand up against yobbish culture.

I work at a brand family fast food restaurant as an assistant manager and in the evenings, we are pestered by children from 10 - 15, who come into our store who purposefully mess around, use crude and racist language, steal and cause havoc, this costs our business more than their business is worth.

I have physically lifted these people out of the store to remove them and in many cases when they become know they are simply removed without being told, if they don't run out on sight of me. It has got to the stage where I have witnessed said offenders come to our door and walk away because I am there. I have been emptily threatened with legal proceedings by some which never materialise.

We use our staff who go to local schools to feed us information on the individuals, and keep a record of names and addresses should we need to pass these to the police. If offenders persist we contact the police with the names. We let the police know any time they visit the store we will call them to file a report, which certainly ensures the police take action.

But if you are going to take action always keep yourself covered, ensure you have witnesses / CCTV, use reasonable force in necessary, stay in control, show no fear. If you feel safer simply call the police.

There is nothing more satisfying than removing these people from our store, and in many cases customers have praised me and my staff for such a proactive approach.

Superb. Well done Clarkson. I hope the police took round an award when they went to "interview" him. Everyone should have the right to get prats like hoodies out of their face if they feel threatened, and they should be backed up by the law. All too frequently the scum will taunt you until they get bored, because they know you "can't touch them". How brave. Then they go to the police if you use physical force. Cowardice personified. When they know that people are willing, and allowed, to take them on, a great deal of intimidation/"cowardice" will cease. I am a law abiding citizen, but I know that if some scum started to threaten and be clever around my family, they would be spark out on the pavement in an instant. End of.

YAY! Jeremy looks like an adult, but he has the brain of a 12 year old boy. And that's what I like about him. Sure his mouth gets him in tons of hot water, but at least he's honest. There is nothing PC about him, thank God there are still people like him! I watch Top Gear on Netflix and I love it. We only get through series 19 so far. Hopefully more soon.

Well done Jeremy!!

There were a crowd of youths outside Morrisons the other day after work (was dark) and rather than run in and buy essentials like I intended to do - I drove back round the car park and drove home!! Was scared!!

Go Jezza! The advantages of being a 6'5" 18 stone bloke, famous or otherwise! Too often those little b*ggers pick on much smaller prey.

Well done him....there was a time when he could have clipped them round the ear and nothing more would have been heard. What if that gang hadn't been abusive previously, the police would probably have arrested him. No wonder this country is going downhill...fast.
