Was pricing around for winter tires for my 2004 BMW 325I, and my old mechanic happen to recommend Wanli tires, its a good price, but would like some feed back from you guys. Thanks.

I would steer clear from anything related to safety that is Made In China. So I will never buy Chinese tires.

Also, 225/45-17 is also not a good size to use for winter tires (too wide, low profile).

You should look into downgrading to 205/55-16, and buy a set of cheap steel rims or cheap alloy rims from eBay.

The Bridgestone Blizzak REVO 1 (which are really good winter tires) are currently on close out at tirerack.com for $86 for this size. I would grab them.
