Music/songwriting. Hubby and I are in a band and we have musical kids too. I love sitting at my piano at night after the kids go to bed. Very relaxing.
Caving and Camping. Sometimes we take the kids, sometimes we go alone. We cave all day and sit around the campfire at night. Love it!
Reading. I'm a big book worm. I usually have 4-5 books going and keep them wherever I might get a moment to read. The last book I read cover to cover in a week was on vacation.
Time certainly gets limited with kids but if you cut out the time wasters in life you can continue to do the things you love. My husband and I both agree that keeping up with the things you love makes you a happier parent and lets the kids see that mom and dad have interests too. :)

My wife and I have a 3 year old and one that is almost 7. We love playing with the kids. We also enjoy bedtime for a break and enjoy the quiet. We are home bodies so our freetime is spent on house work, yard work, we like to read, we also have been doing a lot of jigsaw puzzles with the weather turning cold, I also enjoy hunting and fishing when I get the time.

We had lots of hobbies...When our child was old enough we would snow ski, scuba dive, we go shoot at the Rod and Gun..
We traveled the world as a military family and have a ball.. in Korea, Central America and Germany 20 out of 31 years...
When our child was little.... we visited the fun parks, the put put golf parks..the Chucky Cheese with the game rooms and fun tunnels for kids..We went camping, hiking..and sledding in the snow......traveled to interesting locations he had seen in his geography book....We saw castles, palaces, Museums, places with Rich history...
We also were active in his cubscouts, soccer, and church sunday schools..It was so much fun!!!
Even if money is short... we had a continuous puzzle on our dining room table, scrabble games we played as well as going to the dog parks with our dogs and playing with the other doggies.... and of course the Water park to swim and play together as a family....
It was a "MOST EXCELLENT ADVENTURE" !!!!
