Is mistake a term I should use?

They're not mine biologically, I did not plan on having them and their parents only had them due to stupidity! Although I love my brats but the word surprise is ... doesn't come close .....

But it's unlikely I can have my own children so if I do get pregnant it will be a surprise that I really am hoping for .. But I don't think I'll ever get that lucky :-(

Well we dont have any kids yet but we will soon. My wife is pregnant (due April 2). I would say a little of both, planned and a surprise. We tried for 6 years before she got pregnant so yes it was planned but believe me, it was very much a surprise.

Definitely. Then eventually was told I couldn't have any. We applied to adopt a child, a newborn, as were accepted to be parents. The day they phoned us that the child had been born was the day I got pregnant. Not twins, but they have always been taken for twins and were born 9 1/2 months apart and both have their birthdays in the same year. Never have had any problems with our 'surprise' nor with our 'adopted' child. Both boys and very close brothers for over 20 years. Never got pregnant again.

My first born was a big surprise. A doctor told me, I would never have children....12 months later, I was pregnant with my baby girl....

My second pregnancy was planned....now I have a gorgeous baby boy!

I'm 6 weeks pregnant right now, it was a surprise but I feel that I am blessed. I didn't even think I could have kids.

2 were planned (girls) and my little boy was a surprise. A very nice one of course!

We tried for four years to have the first one. The second one was a let nature take its course plan. My third one was proof that God has a sense of humor. She was not planned and could not be more adored by her teen aged brothers.

Both of mine were planned. Even though they are 20 years apart in age.
