Interesting...I met a tourist the weekend before last that I had a nice time with just for that weekend before he left and we are still in touch and hes coming back to visit me in march and stay with me this time...I have wondered if it could develop and if I want to get into the risks of a long distance 'thing'..
a friend of mine...is now living with a guy that she met when he was a tourist in america...

I know several people who met on hols then got married. In by far the vast majority of cases it has ended in disaster, but everyone else's circumstances shouldnt affect your decisions.

My husband and I met while he was on holiday we were together for two months he went back to England and on our year anniversary I went to England to see him and he proposed then we moved to the US

i met my husband to be while on holidays in the US!!
we met the night before i was due to fly home...we exchanged details and fell in love online and on the phone! we knew very early on in our relationship that we had met our life partner and talked of marraige very early on...it felt completely natural and right...
the distance was very difficult but our love was true...so 6,000km couldnt keep us from falling in love...good luck!
