actually, the ocean medium temperature have rise in a few degrees, changing densities of the submarine currents, making the warm water starting to flow in the east side of the pacific more frequently than before global warming, producing the phenomena called "El Niño", That makes big problems in global climate, like strong rains in Europe followed by extreme temperatures, big dries in south America, etc. If global warm continues, this phenomena could became the rule climate, changing all the agriculture economy around the world, a probably killing many people in poor countries because of the extremely changing climate situations.

Global warming results in climate change. Vicious storms are now battering our coasts. Each degree of warmth adds enormous energy. According to experts in the field, this is mild compared to what we will see in the future.

As the ocean level rises due to ice melt, we will see huge areas of land covered, and some poor, low lying countries will disappear in several decades. We are experiencing draughts and excessive rainfall and warming and cooling of different areas. This means that there will be crop failures and famine.

Also, the oceans are rising and are expected to rise as massive ice sheets on Greenland melt. The ocean volume increases due to thermal expansion and also the melt off.

It's hard to believe, but over a century, if the ice on Greenland melts completely, we could see a 20 ft rise in ocean levels. (This is accurate, but it should take no less than 100 years.)

Everybody thinks they're right and are going to continue to argue in circles until we're either all dead or the issue resolves itself. That's the problem with global warming.

Yes there is global warming... but is it manmade?

And blaming bush for what has been a problem initially created by democrats 50+ years ago, is pretty ignorant.

Ie; remember, democrats were in near total control for decades with occasional breaks of gop control.

Global warming didn't happen overnight and we won't cure it overnight. It has been slowly building over the last 30 or so years with birth of computers and computer driven everything to large passenger vehicles and factories.
