I know that any parents out there may well tell me that this is true of their children....and I should wait until I am a parent! But I was thinking of one of my co-workers....it often seems that every time she asks me a question, I have to give her the answer twice!

No because I'm the one people have to repeat for. I have bad hearing and I need to concentrate on the person to actually understand what they are saying to me. To other people it is very annoying but there's nothing I can do about Its not bad enough to need a hearing aid. I think a lot of it has to do with concentration.

yep. I do that, its because I don't hear well and often get part of the conversation and want to be sure of what is said to me. My poor Husband, I am constantly asking him to repeat himself or what the actor on TV or movie said. Sure wish I could afford a hearing aid!!
Some people though will make you repeat to buy themselves time to form a reply, and sometimes it is just a bad habit.

Yes! I deal with a lot of seniors and a lot of times that don't understand what I am trying to say to them so I may at times, have to say it several different ways until they understand. But that's okay. I'm a very patient person.

" Guilty " !!
But due to a verified short
memory problem (surgery
related).
The ears hear, but the memory
has a hard time holding on to it.
The other side of the fence is just as bad.
( This question made me laugh at myself ).

ME! I am hearing impaired and sometimes even with my hearing aids people must repeat what they say twice. She may have a hearing difficulty...suggest she have a hearing test done...or she doesn't concentrate enough...
