true. But I believe that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Deep inside that bag of bones is a spirit filled with love or hate. Fascinating stuff.

yo los

- that will be on the day my aspirations die and all hope is lost.

and due to my optimism the ealiest possibility i can see for that to come to pass is the day that very bag of bones and gristle stops working.

this isn't pascal wager in flow that soulbetting crap is for p*****s, nah this is in your face absolute assurance that everything gets better; that Quality prevails!

my faith in Good'll take the pespi challenge against anyone's faith in a holy book any day of the week

given that everything that exists is a property of Good there is no suggestion yet that there is a limit to it.To consider the possibility is fun but to assume; that 'the rest is simple vanity' that there is not Good outside of space & time is senseless.

Metaphysical String TheorAtheist.

You OK? Judging by your question, it sounds like you're having a bit of a bad day. Do bags of bones, gristle and blood have bad days?
Of course, I'm fully aware of your theory and agree to a certain extent, but how can we just accept that there's nothing more when we feel such complex feelings, good and bad ones.
The reason why I want to put my opinion forward, is because I suffered from depression for years and had a break down in my late 20's, may have been a result of the abusive and very controlling relationship I stupidly aloud myself to stay in for 8 years; not nice memories. I was always trying desperately to get myself out of it, but it wasn't as easy as that. I didn't just feel down, or a bit miserable for a while, I felt dead and cut off from everything. With support from friends and family and a lot of self motivation, I came out of the depression (and the relationship...woo hoo!) It felt like coming back to life and it still does. I'm very happy now, but the main thing is I feel alive, not just like a bag of bones, gristle and blood. Just my own personal opinion anyway.

I have already - the body is only matter made of 5 gross elements: earth, water, fire, air, ether and 3 subtle elements: mind, intelligence, false ego. The body undergoes constant change until it is unable to carry on in existence. While you are alive you should take care of the body by eating healthily so that you can continue with daily duties.

There would be no need to paint the face to conceal imperfections if a healthy diet of fresh veggies, fruit &nuts and lots of water were to be consumed, and if people exercise and sleep a full night daily. This would make one feel better, look better and be more energetic!!

That's just the body, beyond the body is an onging personality, that is ceaseless.
