I had my 1st scan at 12/13 weeks, my question is...........?

Im now 16 weeks and my next scan is jan 11th, i feel like its so far away as i wanna keep checking that its ok!!!Does anyone else feel the second scan is so far apart from the first!!!!!!

ha, just wait till after your last one!! Here, I got one at 20 weeks, and now not again at all!!
So if I want to see my baby, I have to pay for an ultrasound! (which I did at 24 weeks, haha)

I had my 1st scan at 9 weeks, then again at 12 weeks and I just had my 19 weeks scan yesterday. I found out I'm having a girl. It felt like ages and the days seem to drag on but don't worry it'll come before you know it. Good luck and congrats.

I know how you feel I had my first scan at 11 weeks and my second at 20 weeks, I had my third done at 28 weeks, they wanted to check the measurements, and I wanted to know the sex.
I know that it can be frustrating waiting for a scan, but as you get farther along the baby will start to move and it will make you feel so much better.

I had my my first scan at 8 weeks, one at 14 and then not another one until 22 weeks. It seemed like the one between 14 and 22 was so far apart, but the time flew by. I'm sure your baby is perfectly healthy. Just keep taking care of yourself and all that good stuff. Good luck and congrats!

It seems far apart but if there is no medical need for more scans MD's stick to the recomanded. If your desperate for another scan for whatever reason you could lie and say you notice decrease fetal movement then they will give you one. But relax if the first scan shows everything is going well then that's great and you'll just have to wait.

At least you got your first scan. I never got a scan until I was 20 wks and that was the only one I got until I went to deliever and they did one just to make sure the baby was turned in the right position.
Sure, they are far apart, but it lets you have that excited feeling when you do get one. :)

When I was pregnant I counted down everday my whole pregnancy. Yes it felt like forever. But you definetly sound excited. Someone on hear is pregnant and asked how to get rid of there baby cause there not ready. That's horrible. I don't I all doc. are different but I am 17 weeks today and I am having my second ultra sound on Monday 12/10/07. So to me that is a little odd but I am also having mine a weeks earlier than I did when I was pregnant with my first child.

well lets see i didnt get my first evualtion til 18 weeks due to insurence and everything was fine as long as your eating healthy taking your prenatals and be carefully having no complications-like me- i go for my FIRST sonogram friday. im 20w4d pregnant. some say this is 'bad' but it was not my fault i didnt choose this. but considering you had and a scan and everything was fine then, right? you shouldnt be worried because i knew i was pregannt at 6 weeks and had to wait til 18 weeks imangine that! so now its not to far away and itll go by very quickly. good luck and congrats.
