This idea that bush is a great christan man is pure crap. This is about oil & money. It evolved into a religious war because the power in the white house did not see beyond the dollar bill. We are living the life (as we know it) through borrowed money. We have become a country in debt to foreign countries that have entirely different ideologies & religious beliefs than America.Through the borrowing to finance this very expensive war the American people can go on with their lives unconcerned with the life & death struggle of our military. As you as an individual must pay your bill so must America pay hers. This guy in the white house has every intention to pass this fiasco on to the next president. Be they dem or rep they will have some very tough decisions to make.

Well in his head it may very well be true.
But in defense of Israel , did they not win the 7 day war?
Did not all the surrounding countries sign a peace treaty that is internationally legally binding?
Yes, they did. But the surrounding countries continue to attack Israel everyday and with large amounts of international pressure against Israel, they are afraid to do anything about it because sanctions would weaken them tremendously after giving back the oil rich Gaza Strip to Palestine. Now should the U.S. personally meddle in the affairs of the Middle East by sending troops there? Only if it is to fight terrorism (something that is currently NOT being done) otherwise we should not. But we should back free democratic nations in the middle east economically to show other despotic nations that things go a lot smoother for countries that are not ruled by theology but rather grounded common sense of many people.

Dear friend that is a very interesting thought and can be some part of Bush's plan for a final to the middle eastern problem.
But i actually think that he is firstly a businessman
a very successful businessman one indeed, he has kept the American economy going, without people like him there would be a decline in the US economy.
and I don't agree with all the fun being made of him, hes actually a good businessman, he managed to remain the CEO of the USA for eight years and almost achieved all his goals..hes a successful person

i think Jews and Christians comprehend that Ishmaelites are descendants of Abraham. besides the undeniable fact that, we don't have self assurance that God gave the finished be conscious to Ishmaelites as an inheritance.

It does seem this way when you put it like that. I think that the "delusional adherence to religion" is your opinion, because the majority of the world does adhere to some form of religion. We should try to take religion out of the picture when possible when dealing with other countries.

The fighting in the middle east has been going on for centuries. It's all about money, and power, not necessarily "religion".
We (the US) should have never gotten involved with the fight like we did, years ago; it didn't start with Bush and it probably won't end with him.
