I do not believe Bush was ever concerned about his legacy-he has been a huge failure his entire life and continues to be one. Everything he has touched has went bankrupt, and he continues unfazed. If Rove has anything to do with contributing to his legacy it will be cleaned up anyway. Thank God for the ability to archive information from the internet at least we will be able to show our grandchildren what really happened to the United States just in case their history books are sanitized like ours were.

I think he is concerned about his legacy and that he sincerely believes that he'll be exonerated by history. Sadly though, his perception of history seems to be rather skewed. Although he's 'studied' historical wars and battles, he's missed the lessons.

Another example of Bush's 'legacy building' gone awry is the way that he (mis)handled the Middle East Peace Accord in Annapolis. I'm not in any way defending Hamaas, but there is no way a viable peace could be brokered without including the government that was democratically elected by the Palestinian people. Then, as if the bias wasn't clear enough, Bush withdrew the resolution he'd submitted to the UN for continued talks because Israel didn't want the UN involved in future talks.

The puppeteer pulls the strings and the puppet dances. Is there really any doubt about who was the puppet in that show?

Dear friend businessman do not concern themselves with legacies, what is important here is that hes been a good businessman. Indeed a very successful businessman one indeed, he has kept the American economy going, without people like him there would be a decline in the US economy.
and I don't agree with all the fun being made of
him, hes actually a good businessman, he managed
to remain the CEO of the USA for eight years and almost achieved all his goals..hes a successful person

If he is concerned it's way to late anyway. He missed the boat as usual. It's the story of his life. He's screwed up everything he's ever touched.

No, he just can't wait for it to be over. He's done playing president, albeit a little too late.

This guy is too ignorant to realize what an embarrassment he is. King George still thinks we don't know he's naked.

No he is not. He is concerned with this country, unlike you democrats. More worried about public opinion than getting anything accomplished.
