My best friend has 7 siblings all of different ages, and they aren't the richest people in the world and each christmas they don't get a lot of gifts. This year, i'd like to get each of them something but I don't really know what to get them! Also, I'm not made of money either, and the places I could shop are Dollar General, Wal-Mart, and maybe KB Toys.
Any inexpensive gift ideas and places to shop? Here are the ages:
16 (girl)
12 (girl)
10 (boy)
8 (girl)
4 (girl)
2 (girl)
1 (girl)

Thanks!

You are so sweet! You're friend is lucky to have you!

Why don't you go to Wal-Mary and buy seven stockings. They have the red and white ones for like a dollar a piece. Then fill them all with different things for each kid. Put candy in all of them! You can get lots of cute little stuff at Wal-Mart/DG for super cheap! The 8 and 12 year old would love little nail polishes, lip gloss, a little nail file, etc. For the 10 year old boy, you could just give him candy and a $10 gift certificate to Wal-Mart so he can use it for what he wants. For the 4, 2, 1 year old, get a cute stuffed animal in the stocking. Or a (cheap) Barbie, Bratz Doll, Polly Pocket, whatever. Don't put candy in the 1 year old's. She's a little young and she won't know the difference anyways! (haha) For your friend, you know her better than we do. Make her a mix cd, put a picture of the two of you in a frame, etc.

I'd also write your friend a note that says how special she is to you and how you value her friendship. That kind of heartfelt note is way better than any present.

God Bless You for being so sweet!!

Coloring books and crayons. Hair bows, curlers and makeup for the 16 year old. jewelry for the 12 and 8 year old.
Games they can play together like candyland, parcheesi, dominoes, checkers, and chinese checkers. Old classics are always fun, and several can play at one time. For the little ones, hair bows and barettes in pretty colors, birthstone rings if you know the dates, bubble blowing kits, picture frames with a photo of each one inside. Books appropriate to the ages, musical toys, and children's Bibles or New Testaments. The story of the first Christmas. An advent calendar if in advance. cute stockings or pajamas (I used to get the ones in bright colors with toes in the stockings). Dollar Stores have inexpensive things (like everything is $1) - look for little statues, angels, animals, Fake flowers for arrangements, christmas scenes. Have fun, and God Bless You!
