I struggle to keep any muscle mass, i have early hair loss, bad temper and shrunken testicules. I always had these symptoms and i always suffered in silent, thinking that i simply wasn’t much of a man. I tried a cycle of testosterone boosting sports supplements and the results were amazing. My energy was through the roof and it convinced me that this is in fact the root of the problem. Now, I’m going to approach my GP with this story, what will he do? How easy is it go get help with these things? Any opinions or similar experiences would be most welcome.

Ask you GP about the Androderm patch. It comes in 2.5, 5 and 7 mg sizes. He will run a blood test of course to determine if you have low levels.

Hair loss and shrinking testicles are a sign of too much testosterone or steroids.

I have a full head of hair and two normal shaped testicles and I thought I had been depressed or something. I lost my sex drive and, lust for life and just had to do something about it. The doctor ran blood tests and determined I had low testosterone levels. My body was getting round and soft although I was running and working out. It was strange to say the least.

The doctor put me on the 5 and eventualy the7 miligram patch. It was amazing. Its been about 3 years and I have lost the fat and soft body, I cycle, run and work out and I am 50. I am not chisled or anything I just have a nice muscled body. As far as the drive goes thats the downfall as you are like that 18 year old again, always in some state of erection, either its chubby ,stiff or wake up in pain its so hard. It doesn't take much. But, you have the staying power of an older man, but the desire and energy of a younger man. The downfall is I am starting to view women again as sexual objects rather then people as I use to. I have to work on that one.

Good Luck

My son had a low testerone level which resulted in him having osteoporisis an dbreaking a hip and having both weak hips and back. So joking aside it low testerone can be a dangerous thing and your GP needs to get it checked out.

Your GP will do a simply blood test for the hormone testeoterone, once he has the levels back he'll know for certain just how much you have and sort it out from there. Until you have such a test it isn't avisable to take any form of it without doctors note, as it too much can be the cause of forms of cancer.

Actually, early hair loss, bad temper and shrunken testicles are signs of high testosterone, NOT low. As far as talking to your doc, remember they have heard it all and are there to try and help you. As far as the supplements, I doubt it was testosterone production enhancing, and by the way you need a prescription for testosterone. It was probably some energy enhancement in that supplement that gave you great energy. I think you have plenty of T-in your body but if you are worried then ask the doc to do a testosterone level (blood work) for you.

No you don't. Bad temper is not a symptom of low testosterone but I believe you having it normal, maybe..... :).
