A HUGE Teddy Bear ... and ... (unfortunately) -- my Ex-Spouse did DESTROY (in his vindictive and abusive rages -- he is a violent, abusive sociopath from a short disaster of a marriage) many of my childhood memories.
Now an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree -- I just started the process of going through my house (and attics) to slim down on things (in preparation to transition and relocate to be closer to my family) ... and I found a reel of UNMOUNTED SLIDES that my father took -- and wonder of wonders ... there was a Picture of the Teddy Bear there with ME at Christmas (I was about 2 years old then).

Well, I have two things. One is a baby doll I got for christmas in 1956 and the other is a Barbie I got in 1962 and I still have them both!

I got a gold (painted) music box with a cameo on the top. It was lined with red velvet. I still have it, but the hinge is broken, not surprising since it is over 25 years old!

I got a kitchen play set when I was like 5 and no I don't still have it but my mom is getting one for my sister really soon so I will have a differnt one at my house.

It was during a gift exchange X'mas party. When I was 15. I got my girlfriend's gift, and she got mine. It's a furry rabbit cellphone holder. And it's still on my table, holding my phone. (:

Bert & Ernie dolls. I don't still have them, but I do remember them & I have multiple photos of myself at 4 holding them.

that i remember.......a stuffed puppy dog named sammy he was white with black on him and he looks kinda like a panda and i still have him.
