no you are not wrong. the meaning of Christmas is to Celebrated Christ Birthday and if anyone who wants to join him on Celebrating his Birthday than who are we to jugde them and say no. I remember in this qouate that Christ said in the Bible. is that don't turn away people who believe me or want to believe me and another one is that when Christ was eating dinner at someone else whom I forgot his name. they were a few children came running to the room where Christ was having or eating his dinner and the owner of the house told those Children to go away and Jesus said no. Don't kick them away because Heaven is for Children and they have a place up there with me. so which mean that He love Children and love any body who love him and carousel him and he also love any body who don't like or love him or believe in him. he loves everybody and so I don't mean that only Christians can Celebrated Christ Birthday so if Atheist want to join and help Christ Celebrated his birthday than tell them that they are welcome to come. so just tell your lovely Children that Christ accept anyone and I don't know if Atheists believe or celebrated Christmas but I think they do because this is the only year that family come together and Celebrated Jesus being born. so every body or everyone is welcome.

No atheists don't believe in anything religious, Christmas, Easter etc. they don't celebrate it, that's what Atheism is not believing. We do however join in the fun of parties cos that's nothing do to with religion, but I don't watch Queenie give her speech or sing carols etc and have ugly little baby jesus ornaments about. Anyway Christmas is a pagan festival and nothing to do with religion really. It was just adopted by the christian faith and turned into a religious festival.

I'm an atheist and I didn't use to celebrate Christmas but my roommates and friends like it so I go along with it. Of course I don't believe in any of the mythology having to do with Christmas but I don't think I'm hypocritical for that. I just see the holiday as an excuse to have fun and good times and exchange gifts with my friends.

Christmas has virtually nothing to do with religion. If you want proof, don't give your son any presents and tell him you gave them to god, and see how he reacts. I believe in the spirit of Christmas but not the god part.

no not in the jesus bit but it has become for many a time of reflection and spending time with loved ones. the present giving is an opportunity to show appreciation for the people you care about in your life.

I'm not atheists but my son, who claims to be, celebrates the holiday. It breaks my heart every time we talk about religion. He grew up going to church:)
