a real pit in the stomach that is for sure !!

Actually..true story...a friend of mine told me he got rejected and felt absolutely heart broken. A bit later on he had to see a doc who diagnosed that indeed he did have a mild heart attack..(non lasting though and not serious but he did) at exactly the same the event happened,

I read too in some medical sites that it is not a myth afterall..am sorry I did not bookmark them but "broken hearted" actually in the medical side...actually show some damage on the heart induced by emotional reactions..Although it is not like a heart attack per say but will look like one but have no effect afterwards.

Wished I had kept the link..

Yes! 2 times because of girlfriends 1 of which took me a over a year to get over and the other is not being around my son. The latter still bothers me to this day and will continue til I move closer to him so I can spend more time with him.

When I broke up with my ex that I was with for a year and a half. I got so dependent on him for self-confidence that when we had our final fight, and my love for him turned to fear (he was getting abusive), I felt my world just collapsed. All I could do was cry and stare into nothing. But eventually, I moved on and found people to love who would treat me better.
