I do not think it is ok to lie ever. 1 lie leads to another and so on and so on until you start believing the lie yourself, then when the truth really comes out it is not believed. Never tell a lie no matter the consequences because the truth is always gonna win over a lie any day. Besides liars do not prosper!

No it is not okay to lie.
If someone asks a question that you do not like, tell them it is none of their business.
Honesty is not the best policy, IF you want to be happy, it is the only policy.
When you lie, you are in effect saying: "I am more clever than you and can say what I want becasue you are too stupid to figure it out for yourself" - and that is hardly the way to treat family and friends.
If you are lying to strangers, what't the point? Better not to answer the question than mar your character.

Hahahaha it's never really okay to lie really stretch the truth a little but never lie. because then you have to cover a lie with another lie and then that lie w/ another and on and on and on........ But if you really must lie it has to be like in like a situation like you have a miner stalker who want let u b or. something of a serious manner or something like and emergency situation and u get pulled over then it's okay to stretch the truth..... other than that i really cant think of anything else , It just depends on the situation.

I think it is if it spares someones feelings. Like if they ask if they are ugly or fat, you can always find a nice way to reply. If you are asking if you should lie about cheating on your mate when you have been caught, then no it is wrong. If you stole from your friend, fess up, but just do the "right" thing for the person & situation. You'll know at the time by how "right" it feels.

Never lie tell the truth even when it hurts , there should never be any reason good enough to tell a lie , especially to another human being that breaths the same air as you.

to hide a thing is a bad thing . some times we have to lie because if someone asked u something and u r not able to answer or dont want to answer and than u will tell a lie . but one thing to tell u all honesty is the best polise . who ever tell a lie is the badest person .

the bible says liars will have their part in the lake of fire so in my opinion and according to the bible no lie is OK not even a small one but most folks have at one time or another told a lie of some kind

for example we do have the ever popular "does this dress make me look fat?"
But more commonly if someone made a meal for you and asked if you liked it. It is sometimes better to say "It was fine, but i dont think it is my favorite" as opposed to " I would have rather taken off my shoe and eaten it"

no, i used to think it was ok to lie. this was when i was doin it.
when someone else lied to me and i found out what it felt like to have it done on me, i realised that honesty is the best policy everytime!
