65-67 and wear a sweater if it feels to cool. Also when the heat is on use some kind of humidifier as it will make the home feel warmer. Use ceiling fans to bring the heat down from the ceiling, if your fans are reversible.

We live in NC and we keep out thermostat at 64 in the winter (except when my mother in law comes and we have to turn it to 73!). It has taken a little getting used to but it's amazing how much money we have saved! We just walk around the house with a sweater and thermals on :-)
It does make sleeping better though!

I'm in Indiana too and obviously last night and this morning were the coldest it's been this season but I keep it at 67 and if the kids or husband try to turn it up I tell them to put something on.

We live in a mobile home in Minnesota and have to keep it a little warmer than normal so nothing freezes up. But about 72 works for us. The floors get very cold if it is lower.
