x = r cos t ( t for theta)
y -= r sin t
by divsion

y = x tan t

now sec t = 2

sec^2 t = 4
tan ^2 t = sec^2 t- 1 = 3
tan t = +/-root(3)
so y = +/-root(3) x

secθ=2

cos θ = 1/2

cos^2 θ = 1/4

sin^2 θ = 3/4

y^2/x^2 = (sin^2 θ)/(cos^2 θ) = (3/4)/(1/4) = 3

so y^2 = 3 x^2 or "y=+/- (root3) times x"

1 / cos θ = 2
cos θ = 1 / 2
θ = 60 ° , 300° (1st and 4th quadrants)
x = cos 60° = 1/2
y = sin 60° = √3

y = sin 300° = - √3
x = cos 300° = 1/2

x = 1/2 , y = ±√3
