I had the exact same thing. I shaved and was so itchy and found a pimply bump in the area that is plainly visible down there. It does not have to be an ingrown hair and could be a pimply bump. I thought i had an ingrown hair and just pulled out all the hair around the pimply bump i had. Then i squeezed the pimple and white puss came out and some blood. I did that like maybe 2-3 times so that the puss can all come out which it did. I thought i had some STD and was scared but thankfully it nothing of the sort. I also went to see my doctor but by that time, the bump turned a dark purply color was slowly disappearing. It took approx 1 and half week to go away. But dont shave until your pimple goes away. Just remove the hairs around the pimple with tweezers and hopefully it should go away without any problem. If you are still worried, go see your doctor.

Some yrs ago I had to help this lady out sorry to say I was not much help in that area. She complained of the same thing you are. As it turned out she had an ingrown hair. When I looked at it, it did appear as a pimple just above her opening. I tried to find the hair to no avail. Later she went to a Doc and she told me about it. Only about maybe 1/4" was visible but the pulled better than 2" out of it. The bump went away and she felt better. See the Doc they can do much better than oneself most times, unless you use the mirror and good lighting. Good luck.

Its true tat u ve got to be very careful wen shaving 'there'... wait for 2 - 3days.. n then better consult a doc if it doesnt reduce.. sometimes during waxing also u get pimples bcoz of uneven hair pulling.. ie the hair use to come out along with the root. so wen it grows, the place will bulge to a pimple. that might be (MIGHT BE) the case wit u here.. but still as i said earlier, if it persists or itches, go see a doctor. hope u don get confused wit my answer, dear confused gal !!! NEVER wax ur private places on anybody's advice. thats a soft skin there.. please... shaving alone is safe 'there' but u must be very careful..

Yeah, it's an ingrown. This is not medical advice, but when I have them, I pop them and then try to tweeze the hair out, as it's what's causing the infection. You need a lot of rubbing alcohol or benzoyl peroxide or tea tree oil, so that you don't spread infection all over the place.

If it seems infected, sore, tender to touch; you may need to get it checked by a doctor. We have hair in the pubic area for a reason. I can see cutting excess hair if it get long but not shaving. You may badly need the help of a doctor.

Don't be such a cheap skate. Buy yourself a new razor. That's your problem. The old razor is dull. Your practically yanking them out before your slicing the hair off. Shaving with the grain so to speak is easier but you don't cut as close.

If it looks like a pimple it's just a pimple. They get more of a chance to develop to a good size just because you don't notice them until they start to irritate you. Pimples can get huge if you treat them gently and don't burst them.
