Why do crazy people find it neccessary to kill innocent people for no reason? I was just reading about the mall shooting in Nebraska, its just so crazy and depressing to think about the fact that there are so many messed up people in this world, I mean my gosh, why cant these people get help, if they feel the need to end their lives, why do they have to take other innocent people with them, ahhhh, just venting, any thoughts?

I don't know honey but I know this-my kid is never going to the mall! I think i may even take him out of public school-or school period for that matter...I love my boy too much to see him shot down by some dude that lost his girlfriend or something trivial like that and who then goes ballistic on everyone cuz no one ever cared for him.people need to start giving a sh*t about their kids and this sort of thing would never happen...do you agree?

its too bad there arent more people who feel the same way as you do. unfortunately people become discouraged to make a change in the world. there are some seriously depressed people out there that just need help. it seems like a major age range for these occurances have been teenagers. so maybe its something schools and government should pay more attention to. its too bad that our education in this country is not #1...can you imagine if it were, how many great minds there would be. its insane what our country pays attention to as "important" when the most important things (childrens educations and i would say global warming) are totally put on the back burner time and time again.

A lot of people like that are mentally ill, or they just have an EVIL thirst for blood. I think it's wrong and that they should be punished a brutally as they killed someone else!! They SHOULDb e able to just vent their thoughts, but for people, violence is a way to deal with anger, too. Some people, like me, can just think dirty thoughts and then be done with it. Other people have to actually do physical damage to be happy again. We live in sick and twisted times nowadays. Be careful out there and..

they think they will be imfamous the only way people will remember them is by killing innocents usually loners do this to make something of a name for themselves read about many shootings and the answer comes up time and again " he had no friends" or " he was always by himself" takes all the anger out on people who had nothing to do with him being like that sad fact and they will probably be more mass murder in future from stupid people wanting attention

Its called lashing out and people often do it cause they dont want to go alone...Here in Virginia a woman was shot at the mall....around this time of year more and more people get hurt cause their wallets are tighter....I myself am having a hard time at it...Jobs dont want to pay good money and yet they want you to do the work of four people and spend every waking moment at the job....Because you are not supposed to have a life...your job is your life....Then you have a war going on that causes everything to go up but not your income so now you have to pay 4 dollars for gas but only get paid 7 dollars and hour and rent went up 300 dollars a month....so some people lash out while the rest of us just deal with it.

Yeah I agree, it just doesn't make sense why someone would want to hurt innocent ppl. Its like when I was in school there was fights and things girls fighting other girls over boys and so on and nowadays where I live you hear about random gangs of teenagers attacking innocent ppl walking down the road, not for money even, just to do it, and brutally hurting ppl to the point of almost killing them, it's EVIL, pure evil

I agree, these people have no value for human life. However people are quick to sympathize for the criminal rather then for the victims. It's a sad world we live in I just hope people who do have some mental problem seek help before they plan on taking their frustrations out on innocent people.

The world is created to be like this. If a world also exists where no crimes exist, no pain and struggles, it is not a better place. This world is full of beauty. You can not differentiate pain from pleasure, sorrow from happiness or good from bad if this world is not to be like this. Ambitions exist because of such beauty. Thus man moves himself furthermore. We can feel happiness because we strive for it. Otherwise, we are just simple animals living for nothing.
