Well, other than Ibuprofen, Tylenol for the annoying pain, all you can do is go to a good Orthopedic that is versed in Nerve Damage. I had "tennis elbow" surgery in 2001 and something happened to the nerve. Twisted or something during the surgery. I have recurring pain if I overuse it or do something weird. I just take IB or Tylenol for the pain, and wait til it is better. The Blue dot, sounds like a broken vein under the skin, or maybe a small blood clot. Should go see the Doctor let him/her make a determination. Now you already have waited too long for a work related injury unless you had good witnesses. In Calif. you need to make it known in just a few days to a week at the most. Unless it is a repetative injury, like carpal tunnel syndrome...Had that fixed too, same arm same injury all the same day. Different surgery dates however. That is an annoying pain...I do know that.

Go and get it checked out Arthritis: Tennis Elbow may be one cause Elric this gives great pain and is inflamed inside muscle areas and tendons. Arm pain connected to fingers too may be this This pain is sometimes called brachalgia, a 'pinched nerve', or cervical radiculopathy, it is very similar to sciatic pain but affecting a nerve in the neck rather than the lumbar spine. Irritation or compression of a nerve in the neck leads to some pain in the neck with more severe pain spreading down the arm. The pain can also be associated with tingling (parasthesia) and numbness in the arm and hand, and occasionally weakness in the arm You need to be checked over E and let me know how you get on

Isn't it amazing how often you will accidentally hit that sore elbow? The bruise is probably on the end of the Humerus bone (the "Funny Bone" of legend) and it's location exposes it to random hits and pressure. Try to walk wide near doors and hard objects and to possibly wear a cushion around the joint. After a few short weeks the pain should greatly diminish or disappear. If not, then see a doctor but dint be so quick to get the steroid or hydrocortisone shot. It offers only temporary relief.

Wouldn't you know -- I gave up housecalls for lent. Dang, and of course I know just how to help you. I think about 50 ccs of pure unadulterated steroid and 100 ccs of human growth hormone should have you batting a thousand in no time. Give up the jackhammer job though, you don't need the extra money. I am dialed in to the psychic world and I see a winning lottery ticket in the near future -- not yours of course.
