No, but I share the same name with a few women that have never grew up.
Our birthdays must be close to the same also.My car stop in a intersection. A policeman came over asked me for my license. He checked it, he told me it looked like I was going to jail for a warrant.
I told him did not have a warrant. He said I had a bench warrant and speeding tickets.
told me not to move went back to the car came back and said I could go the other person was older.

The next time it was 15 year later I got pulled over at gun point someone had just took a car like mine just as they put their guns away and told me I could go it was a car like mine that just was stolen but it was a two door...Something came over the radio, the guns came out again
I was pulled from my car, pushed on the ground and the cop put a gun to my head and told me not to move.
It seemed like hours but within minutes.
I was told I could go someone had my same name was wanted for a violent crime.
Again
Just last year I was called into the ss office to prove I was me,someone with my name was in jail in Los Angels and getting ss checks.....

OMG yes! I received an email from what I truly thought was Paypal, they said my account had been linked to terrorist activities and said they needed to verify my information. I answered all the questions which included my social security number, drivers license number, my PIN number, my mothers maiden name and my city of birth. I wrote a check to Piggly Wiggly grocery store, my check for $19.49 cents bounced! I could not imagine why, I knew there was sufficient funds to cover it. This person wiped out my bank account. My bank restored the money eventually, but I was charged with fraudulent check and had to pay $258 + $19.49 restitution. I had never gotten a parking ticket! I had to notify local law enforecemt and the FBI. I do not trust anyone with sensitive information . My credit rating has a fraud alert on it to
The whole thing made me ill, physically as well as emotionally.

Respond to NO EMAILS requesting information about you or your accounts...I don't care how legitimate it may appear.

Reputable companies, organizations, individuals do not ask for this type of information via email. If in doubt contact them via phone, by snail mail, or go to their authentic website yourself [not the website provided in the email]

The paypal scam has been around for years...I don't even have a paypal account, yet get those emails.

A good friend of mine had his jailbird brother steal his Social Security. I know he had a lot of hassles with the IRS since they saw no problem of him working in Michigan and Texas at the same time. (Guess he spent the other 8 hours in the day on planes) Good luck!

It usually is family members who steal identity of their own kin. (husband, wives, siblings) The important information is easier to get. That being said, It took me years after my divorce and still I must check my credit reports ever six months to see if my ex used my good credit, or using it. I know how to correct it faster now, with less hassle.
