8500GT is just a fast BUDGET card. With only 16 Stream Processors in its GPU, it could only manage around 5000 marks in 3D Mark 05 and less than 3000 in 3D Mark 06. Expect nothing spectacular with that card. A factory overclocked 8600GT could score almost double those figures. But of course, the 8800GT is awesome bang for your buck.

it will run fine... but you should have got the 8800GT for the game to run smoother with high settings.
